“My Grandparents are buried at St. Margarets Churchyard. The headstone & surround were last cleaned in the 80’s when my grandmother was buried. The grave itself is under a big tree & over the years ,despite trying to clean it ourselves ,has gradually got worse, to the point where the names cannot be seen. “We engaged Mark to clean my mother in laws headstone, which is made of a soft York stone and is located in an exposed countryside setting, so had become very weathered. Mark visited the gravestone, gave us a quote and promised that the work would be completed before Mother’s day as requested. On completion of the work, Mark sent us a before and after photograph. He had performed a brilliant job on the headstone and the grave surround, which was a huge improvement to how the stone had weathered over the 14 years that it had been in place. He also provided a floral tribute ( which was a choice between fresh or artificial) and was very apt for springtime. As promised the job was completed well in time for Mother’s day.
